Welcome. My apologies for not being able to help you. I really did want to, but couldn't. Jenny fixed everything now, though, so we are good to go.
Please introduce yourselves and feel free to start conversations as you see fit.

Hi Tender,
Glad to have you join us. Just jump in anywhere and reply, ask questions, make comments, etc. As you can see, we're not at all formal here. Sometimes the conversations drift a bit, but that's fun too--------like conversations with friends.
Since you were able to post, looks like you got registered without any problems. HOORAY ! ! ! ! You're our first new member since the board's problems got fixed. If you've been reading the posts, you can tell there was a glitch in things. Chuck and I moved back to our remote homestead in the bush only to find that we no longer can get internet service, so we couldn't do anything with the board. Kristianna is the Global Moderator extraordinere, but when ProBoards upgraded the forum, something happened and she sort of got locked out of the area that lets her keep the board running. I flew into town for our annual shopping trip, wondering why no new members were posting. Kristianna filled me in, so now we're flying again. Oh, it's so nice to be back, but, as much as I'm going to miss the forum when I get home, I can hardly wait to get back to the homestead.
Anyway, now it's your turn, Tender. Introduce yourself if you don't mind, then join our little group.
God Bless,
Jenny

Hello All, We are the Scott Family. The Air Force relocated us to the Kenai almost 1 1/2 years ago. It wasn't our first pick but we are so happy to be here. I probably will read more than write on the forum. I am completely engaged with the content and appreciate all the insightful information. Glad to have found this forum.

A BIG WELCOME to you, Scott family,
We are so glad you found us and joined our forum. And, of course, THANK YOU for serving our country. Our prayers are with you. Chuck is a veteran of the Air Force, so I know he'd love to "chat" with you if he were in town and could get into the forum.
We'd love to hear more about you and your family, experiences you've had in your other locations (and in Alaska).
Take care, and God Bless,
Jenny

Hello everyone,
We’re the Thyer Family presently located in Seattle, WA. I’ve really enjoyed reading what is posted on this web board and excited to be able to post and ask questions.
Thanks to Jenny for getting the board fixed, my wife Tess and I are working as hard as we can to make a new home away from the hustle of the city.
Your resident hayseed blown too far from the field,
Matt Thyer

howdy y'all!
lol I'm a 17 year old gal wanting to eventually become a National Park Ranger for Denali National Park...or any other National park in Alaska really. Or maybe work for NOLS or Outward Bound. Who knows what will happen. Anyway, I really enjoy this website! I get a lot of questions answered by simply reading. I hope to one day live in alaska...or at least visit a lot! Kimberly from Texas
