Hi I am a 28 yr old divorced woman, planning a trip to Alaska in 2007. I want to move there, if anyone can give me any links, comments or thoughts on living in Alaska, the good the bad and the ugly! I want to know it all. I have been researching the trip for a long time, wanted to head there back in 01 but life had other plans for me. I am not from Kansas, just staying here on my lay over to Alaska.

There is a lot of very good info in here so go on and ask away. Have you been to Alaska before? I am currently landlocked in Iowa but I spent the summer of 2003 up there and it is incredible.

What part of Kansas are you living in? I am in Eastern Kansas, where the precipitation is a bit better, and while I enjoy coming here I believe I will stay in Kansas.
