I can totally relate to being lonely. I guess its one of the hazards of bush living. Keep your head up.

Looks kinda like you dont have any snow either. We are down to our last few inches and it has all become ice. It is bad.
Water there must be open too.

There is open water in a lot of areas of the river but enough ice jammed at several spots so we can't get through with a skiff to get our mail at the village that is 28 miles downstream. The lake that a wheel or ski plane can normally land on has standing water on it so our only mail options are air drop untill conditions improve. Here is my bride waiting for the only Christmas mail we received that is in the pilots hand.

Hey I just noticed... I'm an Old Timer now! WhooHoo... ;D ;D When we first started this board, every new member suddenly (and mysteriously) became a "global moderator" ;D Finally got a little (very little) snow, and some cooler temperatures. December was in the 30's and 40's!. Chuck's family in Kansas had colder weather! Now he can finally get around a little better to get logs hauled in for our new house. HOORAY! ! !

Warmer in Kansas? Not for long! We DID eventually get your warm weather, and THEN some!
It has been in the upper 40's, and yesterday was in the 50's and VERY windy, which gave me an early migraine. Strong weather fronts often do.
The migraine ALMOST makes me want winter back again!
