Hi Everyone! I am new to the forum. I have been watching for a while...and now I need someone to talk to. I have been trying to get to Alaska to build my home in the woods, but my train keeps getting derailed. I have done alot of research and am ready to put it to use. Anyone need a building partner? Just a thought...I'm a really good cook!

Even if you are not looking for a partner there is no reason you couldnt post your wishes to help in the singles. It is a place folks can find you and see what you want to do.

Greetings; and welcome also. There is a wealth of information to be shared here. I am doing as you are, trying to start building on my own, it presents a different set of challenges. I already own my property, the task at hand is gettting the materials into the site and building something that somewhat resembles a cabin.
