This is such a good idea... a place to post pictures so they can easily be found! Love the picture by the way!

You can click on the link Chuck posted above the bear picture to see more if you like. We'll be changing or adding more. You can also click on from there, I think, to open your own free account and post your own, then post from there into here. Or, you can just post the link to your pictures so folks can see all of them. Jenny www.alaskahomesteading.com

Oh thank you for fixing the link! I shouldn'ta looked though, now you have made me really really homesick... :'(gosh, I do want to go home! But anyway... loved the pictures... nice. The one I liked most was the watermelon berries, I haven't seen any of those in years! ;D I remember berry picking when I was a kid. The watermelon and black currants were my favorite. I had a black currant bush not long ago... I would go out and rub my fingers on the leaves, just so I could smell a touch of home... silly me

Nice pictures, Chuck and Jenny -- they made me homesick, too. Sigh. Kathleen

You can make 2-sided logs with almost any chainsaw mill without much trouble. I think I used my homemade mill to make most of the ones on our cache.

Chuck: Excellent photo's. The copper hue to the wolf shown is beautiful. I've never seen that coloration in our area except in the ears. Somehow the photo's don't reflect the amount of persperation involved.
