Speaking of which, is anyone watching Westminster? It's awesome! I love seeing all the different breeds and I have issues of which ones to root for....lol

I watch the Westminster show every year. I tape it, too...and love to watch the ones from the 80's that I have. I have seen many generations of great dogs come thru.  ) I raise mini dachshunds and will be getting a show puppy this spring. My mom and I use to show rough coated collies when I lived in AK back when I was younger. We actually had a litter of 2 pups...that were proven to be identical twins born from the same placenta. They both became champions. Anyway, I am hoping to start my way back to the show ring with this dachshund puppy I'm getting this spring from Kansas. The breeds that I just LOVE are ... Clumber Spaniels (I don't know why but I just love these dogs...I haven't even seen one in person, yet.), Kuvasz, Dachshunds & Great Danes. I will eventually get a Great Dane to show, too. Right now we rent and I am not suppose to have more than 2 dogs and I actually have 5 in the house. lol 2 were just born on Christmas morning...but there's still 5 dogs here. ;O) So, when I get out of a rental and into my own place with a bit of property...I'll get into the showing and breeding again. ) |
