Today we had two planefuls of students fly out from the University of Alaska's extension office in King Salmon and tour our renewable energy system as completion to there classroom activities. Of the 16 students and two pilots I actually got the most questions from the two pilots who were interested in installing systems in there remote camps. It was rewarding to see some of the youth of today keenly interested in a career that may bring them more personel satisfaction than money. My wife and I benefited from the experience as much as anyone as there were several bush rats like us that had there own systems and the mutual exchange of ideas and experiences from people who actually have done it was rewarding for all.

This is great to hear, Bob! I wish more were into renewable energy systems and all sorts of other alternatives to oil.
Thanks for the photo and sharing.
